Hey all , has anyone had laser treatment on their eyes ? At the tender age of 22 and due to my diabetes i am going to be having the treatment on one of my eyes .

Anyone know what is involved in the procedure ?

Do a search on Lasik

My wife had hers done - there are some criteria, stable prescription for 2 years etc. Not sure what else though.

She can see as well without glasses now as she could with glasses previously.

Werent there reports of the people in Russia (they pioneered the surgery) suffering from severe "haze" problems years later? Sounds a bit dodgy to me but perhaps techniques have advanced.

Seems this isn't risk free. I'll stick to my spectacles thank you a 5% chance of "haze" just isn't worth it.
