I need a 3star hotel in or near Dam square - for about £80 for a double room per night - any suggestions ?

23rd for May 2 nights. 2 couples - so need 2 double rooms for 2 nights

If ya dont mind not being right in the middle of the city i would suggest the Arena Hotel, its 3* and about 5 tram stops from the city centre / dam square. The hotel is really popular with tourists and locals cos it has one of amsterdams biggest clubs in its basement.

might be worth seeing what they can offer on the website, alternatively i could prolly do it at about 80 quid a night per room through work.

apparently its not too bad, they must have bought big on the sound dampening from halfords

tulip inn has two hotels near dam square. good value and clean

one in spuistraat and one off dam sq try web search

Just had a stag weekend in Amsterdam - the Best Western Eden hotel on Amstel was pretty good - about 5 min walk to Dams square, and pleasantly convenient for the red light district.
