He ain't got a leg to stand on if you have an independant witness explaining he's at fault.
Consider the amount of damage/no claims/excess before letting the insurers know. I take it you've got all the chaps details...

Also, didi she hit him or he hit her i.e. Side impact from him to your vehicle or front impact to his vehicle, if you see what I mean...

thankfully not the scoob, however some guy has backed into my girlfriend's car in a multi-storey. (whilst she was looking for a space, and he wasn't looking at all)
Basically she and an independent witness say he was at fault and he had no working reversing lights at the time - is this an offence?
It seems quite clear cut to me, but the lights issue might be the winner factor with the insurance co's - thoughts?
