Here I am sat at my PC waiting for 2am so I can move my clocks forward 1 hour!!
I used to set the alarm to wake me at 2am but that knackered me more than just staying up!!
Why don't they say, 12midnight? so I can get some sleep??
Why 2am?? and make me hang about till then??

The clocks actually go forward FROM 1am TO 2am - so why did you stay up until 2am to do it? You could have had an extra hours kip :-)
It's all relative anyway - given it's Sunday, not too drastic until Monday for most of us getting to work on time :-)

Errrrm - Why not invest in clocks that are radio controlled by the Atomic Whatchamacallit at Rugby. I have one in the kitchen. It affords me a small level of smugness to know that when I set MY watch it is the most accurate watch in the office

Did you know they have to stop those atomic clocks once a year because the Earth is slowing it's rotation at a rate of half a second a year. It's true. I think. I'm sure I read it somewhere. Could've been a lie I guess. God I'm gullible.

why don't you get your PC to synch it's clock from another atomic source? XP and most new OS's do this by default, but I'm sure you can get a freeware application that will do it for you..

PSLewis, you are a total wierdo. WGAS if the clocks are wrong until you wake up in the morning? Either that, or change them at 9pm when you take your cocoa up to bed - after all, you'll be alseep, so won't know if they're wrong for a few hours, will you?!?
Most of my clocks now auto-adjust - car radio syncs using RDS, the video syncs with Teletext, my alarm clock is an atomic radio one, and my PC auto-syncs to web timeservers and auto-adjusts for daylight savings anyway....

Pete - just change them 10 minutes every month so by the time it comes round to change it again your clock will be correct then you can start again.
