Thins to do in Kuala Lumpur?
#1
My flight from London to Adelaide has a change in Kuala Lumpur. I arrive at 7.30am and have to be back at the airport by 7pm for the onward flight to Adelaide.
So can anyone advise of anything worth seeing in the short time I have in KL.
laters

Go on the twin towers. If you don't have vertigo, you soon will.
Why not go to Sunway Lagoon and play in the waterpark? Its actually quite fun. If thats not your scene, you could always go shopping about. Things are dirt cheap there.

Airport tax? I never recalled paying it anyway. Besides, even if you did, its not going to be more than a few Ringgits anyway. When you go to Malaysia, you have to have a different mindset when it comes to cash. As I said, its dirt cheap there, even computer components.

Katana, you don't pay separately for airport tax nowadays cos they are already included in your tickets when u purchase them. I am quite sure that once you leave the transit lounge, you will have to pay the tax, cos they will have to screen u again for security and immigration clearance.
Frisby, u can take the airport-city rapid transit train directly from the airport for the 26 minutes ride to the city, around 6 pounds one way. Depending on your interest, you can go shopping for 'cheap' computer programs, DVDs and 'branded' goods. Email me offline for details if needed. Just outside the airport is the Sepang F1 circuit, where they just had the F1 race. There is always the Petronas Twin Towers as Katana mentioned, the tallest in the world, and for some clean fun and relaxation, a sauna and massage at one of the spas and health centers.
