Two adults in first week of the easter hols -
Somewhere warmish, nice and not too far!
Any recommendations? Any last minute bargains to be had?

Egypt will be cheap being a Muslim country and not too far from the "action." Try Sinai Penninsula area around Sharm El Sheik - good weather, scenery and Scuba diving. No anti-western feeling there because it is so remote they just mind their own business. Mostly the hotels are resorty sort of places on the beach - I'm sure you will get a good deal! I went there in Feb 2002, no complaints at all for the money - booked on Lastminute.com

hmmm, should have mentioned my aversion to even slightly dangerous places! Turkey/Egypt are definitely out - most of the websites seem pretty poor too... And the travel agents I went in were useless!
