Used to use O2 online text messages(far quicker to type and free)

It now seems though that when people reply to me they only go to my online inbox and not my phone - as they used to do, great, some use that is.

I also read there will only be 10 free messages per month now online rather than the previous 100 odd.

The service with o2 has been crap anyway, so now they decide to make it worse

Hello

Well, 02 are the least profitable of the 4 networks in the UK.

I guess they have to recoup there costs somehow. I have used their free text messages since Genie, so it's quite annoying to go to just 10 per month.

Steve.

Thumbs down

used to be 600 messages. reckon a good scripter should get hold of their dialup sms gateway details and send via that (used to do that from vms at the last company)... ;-)

the most annoying thing is the replies DONT go to your phone, so you have to log on and check - useless.

People used to text me, Id text back at my desk and read replies on my phone - easy and free, now its just crap and Ill find an alternative

Uncheck the "enable reply" box when you send them and people won't be able to reply to your online inbox. Other than having the option of messages going to your "online inbox", the service is exactly the same as it's always been.
