What with the current issues/problems in obtaining number plates these days, where can you get the stick-on type number plates. Tried a number of motor-factors, Halfords (cough) and the general response is "Ehh, whats one of them then". Colleague of mine would like to remove his front number plate and get a stick-on type and either place it at the front on the bonnet or stick it to the base of the bumper by the cut-out for the rad.
Anyone??

I recentlt bought one from a motor spares shop the only catch was they wouldn't make it for me, but they would sell me the letters and the reflective sticky backing. I found most shops will do this but only if you say it is for show purposes only.

I went to my local vinyl graphics shop, they were prepared to cut out the letters for me in any font, shape or size that i wanted. They charged me a tenner for 2 sets which I thought was very reasonable, and they let me supervise the pc operator to make sure the size and spacing was correct. Then I bought a white reflective backing sheet from my local moter factor and had my own slightly custom front plate. You have to be a bit careful as the plod will pull you if looks too different.

Any decent graphics cutting shop should be able to do them and on the reflective backing or non if you get the right sort of place.
I had 4 done at a place nearby and they already had templates made up, they just put in the letters and numbers and hit print.
