How do I call this Italian Mobile.

Whilst in Italy all I had to to was ring 338 500xxxx.
Now that I am back in the UK, how do I call/text to this number?

just put 00 and then the Italy country code in front of that number.
thats how I call/txt my mate in spain

From a mobile, is it:
+39 338 500xxxx
or 00 39 338 500xxxx
which one?

go with 0039 but it shouldnt matter if you add + in your add phone numbers

They will both work, which is why you got both suggested
I use + instead of 00 as it's shorter and the number fits better on the screen.....

"+" will always work, but in some countries the international access code isn't "00". To be safe, and so that your phone memories will work anywhere, use "+".

I also use + on all the uk numbers I will want to phone in the UK and when outside of the UK as dialling 0044 in the UK doesn't work. This way I don't have to change the numbers depending on which country I'm in.....
