Very interesting documentary on the history of bank robbing and how security and ingenious plans to rob have developed over the decades.
Very funny contraptions devised in the 60's like the hardened bowler hat to protect cashiers etc and a money case that had large prongs shoot out. Now days if you devised those things you would be sued by the criminal for causing him harm
Worth a watch!

I think most of them could still have a good go,they have seen it all and done it all.
I didnt see a poor looking one did you,all tanned, suited up and sitting in thier own establishments, who says crime doesnt pay.
Thought it was a little ironic that the head of the regional crime squad was best mates with the local armed robber(after retirement of course)happily playing snooker in a snooker hall funded by armed blaggs.

LOL I wouldn't want to cross any of them thats for sure, once a hard b@stard always a hard b@stard.
Yeah none of them looked as though they had any pension worries, they might well have done their time but they certainly looked as though they have plenty of cash hidden away.
Irony at its best with the copper and robber being good mates after retirement. Its almost as though it was a game during their working lives as to who could outsmart the other.
Just hope I don't miss next weeks programme.

It was like the scene out of ******
Couldn't believe the door didn't totally lock to stop anyone else entering a dangerous situation. I am surprised he didn't give the old biddy a kiss on the forehead for getting him out of a very nasty situation.
I have done jury service and one of the cases was for armed robbery. Lets just say they arnt all the sharpest tools in the box
