My mother wants to buy a new car, any suggestions?

I thought you guys could give us some ideas. She already owned a VW Golf GTI, Golf VR6, BMW Compact and really likes my scooby (who doesn't). Now, don't laugh..she likes to read tuning magazines from time to time aswell.
I was thinking of the new 'Honda Civic Type R'. Car should be:
- 3 door
- about £ 15'000.-- to spend (CHF 35'000.-- to 40'000.--).
Please don't give me the 3x VW-Lupo (yellow, pink, purple) answer.
Thanks,
Danny

The term "Milf" springs to mind
Sorry couldn't resist
Having had a civic vti in the past would thoroughly recommend the honda. Do try first because the VTEC is not to everyones taste. Always Always made me smile though. If you actually drove it sensibly and stayed off the vtec you can get very good economy - or least thats what I was told - never tried it myself
