Archiving to CD-RW
#1
Right, I've got a CD-RW on my works laptop, so I want to be able to backup all my documents, then weekly/monthly backup any changed files.
I'm running W2K, is there any software that will do this, or do I need an additional package? If the later, any recommendations?
cheers,
greg

Don't think there is any inbuilt support in windows for CD-RW burning, if the drive is internal then I would have thought it would have come with some software.
so what to use? well I've used Nero which is meant to be pretty good, but i've also heard good things about Roxio Easy CD, which is meant to be quite good, and if their Toast product for mac is to go by it should be very good indeed.

Get yourself a nice 80gb firewire ext. hard disk like I did!!
CD-RW is far too slow, even at 16x!
You'll need packet writing software if you want to cut & paste, drag and drop in Windows. Otherwise EasyCD is easy to use.
WinXP supports CD-RW - out next month.

I've got the software to write to the CD, it's the software to work out what has changed and move it to the CD that I'm after. Sorry if that wasn't clear 1st time around!
