Anyone know of a secure car park near Stanstead airport? I have tried searching but the server does not respond if I search more than a month back. Thanks.

There's a pink elephant car park there - just follow the signs. Left my Scoobie there for 5 days no problems.

M_D_B -- you might get more google hits if you spell <B>Stansted</B> properly.

The one spelt Stanstead is Stanstead Abbotts about 15 miles away, and you don't want to go landing a 737 there...

I just spelt it how it was in the thread subject. The google search did ask if I wanted stansted, I thought it was just showing off :O . Anyway, I'm a midlander, what would I know about southern airports? .

I have parked a succession of four Imprezas in the short term car parks at the airport every day for the last 17 months......and touch wood they haven't gone walkabout yet.

£15 per day for the short term

£10 per day for the mid term

£6.50 ish per day for the long term

The longer you go fron the terminal, the cheaper it gets.

No secure parking that I am aware of (although every so often my ticket goes doolally and won't let me out, that's pretty secure)
