Anyone do weight training?

Question for anyone who goes to the gym - why is it that when doing certain exercises, I end up shaking like a sh*tting dog?
I've been working out for years, but this still happens. Anyone else? Is it laack of something? Not enough salt, too much salt, lack of sugar, too much sugar...what? I look around the gym and no-one else seems to have the same problems as me?
And no, it's not nerves...nerves of steel, me...

I get this as well, especially after (very) intensive rowing - apparently its quite normal. Did you see the state of Steve Regrave and co after the olympic run? They collapsed - i.e. legs were jelly!

its down to a lack of carbs, try ultimate orange from GNC. It should provide you with the right levels of sugar, salt etc..
You take few gulps before training and as you go along.
you will find after a few sessions you be able to go on alot stronger.

You have, hypoglycemia, albeit a mild case brought on by 'extreme' excercise.
Lot's of people have it, some suffer more than others.
I've had it since I was a kid. I just keep my sugar level topped up and everything stays fine.

fecking ell Ultimate Orange will send u high as a kite and surpress your appetite and make u drink like a fish..
Ensure that you eat a couple of hours before u go to the gym, this will build your glycogen levels (energy).
Ensure you are fully hydrated and drink plenty when you are working out.
Whattype of training are you currently doing ie strength, body building, endurance or weght loss. What are your personal goals??
let me know

Make sure that you have "slow burning carbohydrates" a couple of hours before the workout, during the work out have the "high energy" drinks to quickly replenish supplies and ensure you are hydrated. Afterwards, again have a snack which has "slow burning carbohydrates"
Though, if scoobystan recommends different, then I would heed his advice.....
I found that always kept me going when I was weight training.

Ultimate Orange you can get by ordering from any Bodybuiding/fitness magazine, but as I said before prepare for the side effects I mentioned earlier, and it will keep you awake at night if you take it late on, this is due to the ephedrine content in the powder.
