Caterham 7 Fireblade

Hi Girls
Thinking of Building one of these little stormers for a bit of trackday and summer weekend fun
Can get my hands on a 140BHP fireblade engine
Anyone any opions
how does insurance work for limited miles and second car ??
EVO loved it
0-60 in 3.8 seconds sounds good to me and in gear not much will keep up (500bhp/ton Westies accepted)
cheap to run ?
Tal hhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Personally, i'm of the opinion that a Bike engine is designed for Bike's and not to drag around the weight of a car, and cope with many times the stresses.
But, I don't know **** about engineering .
I'd still love one though

They're also a lot more 'committed' than 'normal' kit cars. Fine for the track, but, I suspect, a pain in the **** for regular road use.
Like gregh says - horses for courses. Personally, I prefer a V8 rumble to a 4-pot scream.....

Tal,
I spoke to westfield about bike engined cars, they were v honest and said they are great, but have to be serviced more regularly and will 'expire' quicker than a car engine.
