Actually I'm relieved there were no Scoobs now.
Shame it just turned into the usual 'Speed Kills' rant
And why are speed cameras painted yellow - but only on the BACK!??

Absolutely appalling. It was very interesting until they brought up that poor girl that died. FFS, in a Datsun Prarie. WTF had that to do with the rest of the programme?
I suppose it's a fine line between glorifying speed, but when you start off with what looks like an interesting and informative documentary, but then (predictably) rapidly goes downhill into a "Speed Kills" monologue...I tend to switch off.
Oh - and Uncle Buck - what indeed would be the point of painting the front of a Gatso?![]

When it started i thought it was gonna be a program for car junkies, about cars, it was good to see a few yankie Model A & B Fords with the old Flathead V8's, (I've got one) and the muscle cars, but it finished up just telling us what we all know anyway, speed kills, yes we know, so why keep bl**dy telling us, it won't stop us driving our cars will it?????
Rant over til next time!

Ron, I demand pics of your flattie!!
I dream of the day when I pull my finger out and build a '32 hi-boy. Probably won't use a flattie though, probably either 289 or 302 Mustang motor. One day, I tell you...

Well, teletext said "investigates why some drivers like to drive quickly despite the threat it poses to themselves and others".
Sorta hints it's going to be very anti-speed. So I didn't bother...
Actually, the title is quite worrying too - junkie: someone addicted to somethinig that can harm them?
