Free Internet calls on NTL ???
Having just got a rather large telephone bill
Does anyone know a site which gives free internet calls for people with an NTL line.
Most of them seem to be affiliated to BT SurfTime.
Cheers

Bajie, can't you just sign up for NTLs own ISP (I'm assuming you are talking about internet connections, not voice over internet).
It's free 24/7. Disconnects you after two hours, but with a download manager and being able to click a couple of buttons it's a godsend.

Unfortunately, if you're not an existing NTL Internet subscriber, you can't sign up to NTL World.
Though I will be able to get NTL Broadband when it gets to my area in a couple of months time

What do you mean by internet subscriber? I just rang them up (or do it online) they send you a disk, you register, you get free net access. Doesn't cost you a penny, you just dial up through their ISP?
Can you do that? Or are you after summat else?

if you have NTL you came have a NTLworld internet CD to gain FREE internet access.
if your not on NTL the CD will make a cost to the call! ie not free! they will charge 3p a min etc not too sure on the prices!
but to get the FREE internet calls (0800) you really need to get a NTL phone line.
we have BT line and Ntl, we use NTL (cus its FREE) to access the NET!

The cdrom all had serial numbers on them so its one per subscriber. Just call them and they will send you one out either your a BT ir ntl: customer. BT customers must agree with a few T&C's, so read up on them first.
