If you wanna check this guy out, then there is a company offering to check the details of job applicants. It's web based, unfortunately the name slips my mind.....I think it has "cv" in its URL!

Neither of mine have D.O.B. on them. In fact the one from UofL looks a bit pants (plain bit of paper, small crest on the top, embossed stamp on the bottom).

I suggest you ring the university/college that awarded the degree - they should be able to confirm whether they include d.o.b. even if they won't be able to confirm the guy's details.

Never seen one with a DOB. Each university uses its own format, so you should call them

Mr. Bloggs has applied for a job at my place, two of us are responsible for recruitment in our area.

Now....Mr. Bloggs got selected for an interview for a position, which me and a colleague held. I checked out his degree certificate and it has his date of birth on it, looked fine otherwise...but...

This puzzled me, my BSc only has my name and Uni details on it.....now i havent seen that many certificates as i've only just graduated myself but i'm suspicious!
My work m8 reckons we should just ignore it but do degrees certs have d-o-b's on them?

Same here, strage thing to put on a degree unless it's a <B>new</B> security idea (mine is 12 months old)

Did I suggest there was anything wrong with them? It's just that some universities manage to fill their undergrad intake without resorting to adverts on the TV
