Quick question for you all - If I pay someone or a company a cheque does my bank know who I paid it too ?
Obviously they will know the amount has gone out when it clears but will my bank know who it went to if its a cheque ?
When a cheque clears the addressee doesn't appear on statements - just cheque number & amount - so do they know ?
