ASP / VB Guru?

Hi
This is driving me NUTS!!!
At present I'm using the ADODB.Stream object and then using the LoadFromFile method to grab an image from the server and turn it into a binary stream for output.
I need to be able to do the same with images that are located at URLs rather than a path on the server..
so at present I'm using
objStream.LoadFromFile "c:somedirsomeimage.gif"
and I want something that will allow me to do something like
objStream.LoadFromFile "http://www.someurl.com/someimage.gif"
Any ideas? Do I need a completely different object?
Do I need to copy the file to the server first?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Simon

Simon,
I think it's as simple as using Server.MapPath, isn't it?
Server.MapPath translates virtual addresses into physical file locations, e.g.
objStream.LoadFromFile Server.MapPath ("http://www.someurl.com/someimage.gif")
