These people just make me really angry !!!, just trying to sell a set of alloys & tyres, put on ebay, first of all they guy offers £50 less than reserve, but I need to get shot of them so I accept, I arrange cost of courier, and wait for cheque, 4 days nothing, e-mail the guy, oh sorry, sold the car so don't need them now. I was under the impression that by winning a bid on e-bay that you were entering into a legally binding contract.

Contact e-bay and report him for non-payment and also leave some nasty feedback for him on his account.

Dont say anything like 'tosser didnt pay' on ebay feedback as he can have it removed as it is libel if unproven.

I had 'Damian has a bad attitude' removed for exactly this reason - but the bugger refused to sell the item after I had won it for a rediculous price

Damian, what you posted is interesting -- did you get the goods you won on eBay, was the vendor reluctant to sell 'cos he didn't get his "price"?

If I read correctly Audiman accepted an offer of less than the reserve price. Therefore isn't the deal non-binding/

yep- if reserve is set but not meet then no legal deal (deal can still be done but ebay wont get involved)

Don't get me started on this! I have money burning a hole in my pocket for 17s and two people from this very site have let me down. The first sold them locally cause he couldn't be bothered to spend 5 minutes packing them for the courier guy to collect. Little did he know I'd have paid a lot more. The other guy again under sold them because I was away from my computer for more than 5 minutes and missed 1 or 2 posts [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

You can have mine (even though they're only 15")!,promise !, I'm sure they'll fit with a bit of drilling and a big file !, I could paint a silver line around the rim to make them look like 17"s.
As for contacting e-bay, yes as they were under reserve there is no contract to answer, and I wouldn't waste my time dissin' the guy, he's a **** and he probably knows it !. His loss anyway, as they were a bargain for £200 !!

The guy maybe never sold the car,maybe he just changed his mind.For some reason peeps dont have the bottle to admit it,so they try to make up crap excuses or just dont get in contact.
