I have just received the above as an attachment in an email from someone.
When I clicked on the paper clip attachment icon in my inbox there was a small Zone Alarm inc. icon displayed along with the text Hamster ZIP.zig 13.3kb now I was very suspicious straight away as all the email said was "see attachment" so I forwarded it without opening it to hotmail where it says that there is no cure available for this virus
Now is all I have to do, is delete this email and my computer will be ok? Or is it possible that it will automatically attach itself to all out going emails I send?
Could anyone more in the know help me out with this as the last thing I want to do is start sending out a virus to people.

As long as you didn't click on the attachment you'll be fine.

Getting some Antivirus might be an idea, Hotmail are sometimes a little slow updating.
