You guys put me to shame - no trouble with most of the licences but come the GT1 around Monaco (sorry 'Cote D'Azur') and I am stuck - any tips to help pass ?

Also, is it just the endurance race that wins you a F1 car ?

Keep trying. Use your ghost car to see where you where better/worse on your fastest lap. Put all the betters together and you will (eventually) pass. Not sure that golds are achievable in a single lifetime though...

If you can get to the tunnel in about 44-45 secs then you're on target assuming you don't **** up. Just be patient through the twisties is the best advice I can give. Potter round the tight stuff in second (first for the hairpin) and stick it into third asap to prevent it spinning.
It took me about 1/2 hr last night to get it.
Watching the demo replay helps loads too.

I agree on GT40 stage - excellent

But on ghosts I find I end up trying to race the ghost and then crash - so doesnt really help me.

Maybe I just need to try at a reasonable time rather than at midnight !!!

It took me a while to master Monaco, just use the throttle lightly, and watch the demos.

Finally managed to pass Monaco !!! Only took about 15 mins last night, and got a silver !!!! Very much doubt I could repeat it though - Until then I was 1 second off the bronze time - just got a very smooth lap in and there it was !
