Is the sound on GT3 any good???!

Just bought a PS2 and GT3 plus optical cable to plug into the home cinema DTS Dolby digital amp etc. Has anyone done this yet and is the sound any good??

turn off all the BGM and turn up the volume and turn move the balance towards your surround speakers. You can tell where the cars around you are from the sound alone. Scoob also makes excellent air filter woosh on gear changes.
