Increased Moderator Presence..

Just as the tanks roll into Heathrow, so to do the Mods beef up their presence on ALL the boards. Shock horror!! Terrorist threat on Scoobynet? Or is it due to reckless posting by certain members

We have recieved no specific terrorist threats, but the curry I had the other day did have ricin...
Seriously, the increased no of mods in each forum is to provide more cover for forums and so allow the mods the odd free minute or so.

It's good to have the amount of moderators in each section as we have because if for some reason one of us does not have access......a good example being me when the BT line I had went down......then there is no worry about cover.
More moderators in all of the forums will provide a better moderating service all round.

Good in theory so why cant all moderators, moderate all forums ????? Thats where the argument falls over. Surely that would give ultimate coverage wouldnt it ?????
You probably wouldnt need so many as well

LOL cheers Sammy.
I am just surprised why this wasnt done from the word go and have a primary moderator for a forum and all the rest deputies, who can delete or edit posts in something urgent happens. IMHO I think all mods should be able to edit/delete any post in any forum as for locking threads then that should be the job of the primary moderator only.

Awww Pete hun....I'm hurt.
Chrisp....I assume us mods would also come with the statutory 320bhp....the primary mod being the hallowed 500+
BTW...TheScooby...that was far too Americanised for my liking. LOL I think I will stick to my boring sales pitch.
