Thumbs up

That'll be "Thanks for all the advice at the time, TelBoy"

Treat yourself to a dictionary, it'll have the correct spelling of "won"...

I tried this for a while between houses, had 20k in, it feels good when you see that envelope on the door mat with national savings on it and you know it's a cheque, after a year had about the same as a high interest account in winnings, and there was allways the chance of something bigger, much more fun than a savings account.

i reckon with 2 grand you'd be lucky to get two wins a year (going on my experience and a friends who had 10k)
But then it could be £50 a win could be £1 million, you never know.
If you get a booklet on it from the postoffice it tells you loads about it, the reason i went for it was coz it says with 20k you'll get an average of 12 wins a year, I think I had 12 0r 13 in a year.

But as like you say it's long term why not give it a go for a few years you might be lucky and if other areas of investment start to look better you could allways get the bonds cashed and change the area of investment, and you can't loose really

Question

My sister got contacted by National savings 3 months ago, just before the £1million draw. They said that a number in the previous draw didnt qualify - so, they asked ERNIE for another number and lucky them its theres - £50.

Now, imagine if that previous number was eligible???? My sisters number would have been drawn just as it was BUT it would have been the MILLION winner!!!!!!!!!!! was she sick!!
