GT3 at home - Andrew at Work

Well.
Its pretty awesome. The steering wheel and the pedals make the game even more realistic. You can actually lift off mid corner and get the car sideways and feed the car loads of opposite lock, it feels bang on.
Its stunning.
Goodbye social life.

Agghhh,
My wife just rang to say that she picked up a copy of GT3 from the local games store.
5 and a half more hours before I get to go home
I'm starting to feel sick
Andrew.

If you come up with a really good excuse/fake illness, you could be off for the rest of this week and part of next week!!!

Ronaldoh.......you have the wheel yes????
Do you get just as much control with the wheel as you do with the pad???.....because wheels i have used in the past have been a bit unresponsive and pants......not nearly as good as the ps2 pad!!......

Yes, you must go sick or invent an excuse to be off for the rest of the week!!!
It will take ages to get the Licenses sorted out.
I once had Metal Gear solid for the PS1 a few weeks before it was released in the UK, but didn't play it. The reason was I was half way through decorating my lounge and it wouldn't have got finished until I completed the game. Wasn't fair on the wife and four kids.
You know it makes sense.
PS I can't buy a PS2, I have a social life at the moment. But if the girls insist, well what can I say!!!

Local shop who has been selling GT3 since yesterday.
His logic is 'I've got the stock, people are asking for it, and if I say no then they'll just go elsewhere ...'
Works for me
4 hours to go
But the wife just rang me to say that she bought me the GT3 + Wheel combo

My dilemma is that I have pre-ordered it from Tesco.com (for £31 but don't have an email saying it has been dispatched yet
I have also reserved a copy at EB, so do I take at chance and hope it will be delivered by Tesco tomorrow, or try and pop into EB on the way home and see if I can *persuade* them to let me have my copy. Suppose I can always return the Tesco one if it arrives too late.
Decisons decisons! I'm just too bloody impatient althought considering I have been wetting my pants waiting for GT3 for about a blood year now neither wonder I'm fed up.

Gza,
I also had it on preoder from tesco.com
They haven't posted it yet, which means it aint coming tomorrow.
I know its only a couple a days more, but then on the flipside, it only cost me an extra £6 to have it today
Andrew.

Think my impatience is getting the better of me - I'm gonna go to EB on the way home and use my considerable powers of persuasion on whichever spotty youth is standing between me and the joy that is GT3
