Si, I'll be there before you, it's only 41 floors down from my desk! LOL only kidding. So is this the 'killer ap', do I have to buy a PS2 now? Considering I don't have a PC that can play games, but do have dreamcast/ps1/n64/dvd player.

Yes Chuck, it really is that good.
It's 100x better than MSR or F355 Challenge
You have to see it to believe it though, words don't do it justice.
If anyone's in the Daventry area, I'll give you a demo

David,
No, I've only done 12.5% - the girlfriend won't let me on it!
Some observations:
Very important to buy proper tires for the cars - from amateur level on the tire wear indicators light up rather rapidly. Even attempting the odd handbrake turn will flat spot the tires.
Started with Mazda MX5, then got a MY01 STi which I modified up to 355hp, then won a Lancer Evo VII which I used to take part in the EVO Lancer championship - which starts a Lagune Seca. This is where you really feel how good the handling has been done. The Lancer is a scream to throw around this circuit with the other EVO's all over you!
Really enjoying the game (when I can get on it)
-DV
PS: Can't wait to win my favourite car - the Ford GT-40

I agree on the tyres. I usually settle for T5's (medium sticky) which are good for about 5-10 laps.
Haven't you managed to get that Touring Car Mercedes yet ?!?
How do you get the GT40 ?
Other than tyres, I found going for 1st level suspension upgrade and adding a degree of camber helped no end.

Don't tell me you can win an evo 7! I started with an Mx5 and won one after a bit. Then saved and got a 7 (kitted it out) and now you tell me I can win one !!! By the way I picked up my copy from a small game shop today (I reccomend asking around). 8% completed in one day!

As I said in another post..
Don't go buying a Scoob or Evo with your money (you'll win those along the way)
1. Buy an SLK - mod it up to the heavens
2. Enter the AMATEUR (not beginners) Silver Arrow Race.
3. Win
You'll be given a Mercedes Touring Car.. which is SO SO SO fast..
You'll be unbeatable in all races pretty much (assuming you can drive) and soon you can buy 22B's with your loose change.
I use the joypad, it's analogue anyway, and I find a wheel pretty cumbersome.

Seize,
I've won 2 EVO's and I'm only 12.5% thru - one in the amateur AWD series and one in the TURBO series I think. Racing them at Laguna Seca is mental!
GregH,
Only tried the pad - its good, but I always prefer a wheel for mid corner corrections and stuff. Plus its sometimes difficult to find 'full lock' on the pad.
Will try that Mercedes tactic.
Not sure how to win the GT-40, but its in there and I won it in GT2!
No 60Hz mode in PAL version - sorry!
