"You always see in other countries pro-war marches and burning of american / UK flags... Why don't we do the same?"
When you go to these places and see the press/goverment handing out flags for them to burn...........I spent most of christmas watching press setting up "Exclusive shots"
Sure some of it is for real ...but dont believe all you see on TV.

I would bet that if a pro-war demo was marched - people from the anti war demo would interfer and cause trouble.
It will really annoys me how narrow minded people are - I wont even mention, in this thread, about the people who are against fox hunting and animal experiments what they get up to...

It just gets me about some people's idea's about protesting.
I don't have a problem with it, but I don't have to agree with it.
When I was (a bit) younger me an a couple of friends got really pissed off with some people in town, agressivly protesting about animal cruelty / tests.
I didn't mind their protest, but I minded being called a `callus *******` when I didn't sign up. So we all went back to my house, got out the old wallpaper table, a few tablecloths, and spent the next hour printing out stuff from the interet. Next week in town, when the protesters were in full swing, we setup a stall opposite to them promoting aminal testing for cures for cancer / drugs / etc.
You have never seen a bunch of pissed off people screaming bloody murder!
we even got 40 odd signatures...
I live in a free society, why shouldn't I exercise my rights?

There used to be tree creepers nearby protesting about some centre parks type place being built. They were never there in the winter though (apart from about 2 I think!)!
Soap dodging protesters (unless it gets a bit nippy, in which case back home to oil/gas burning/electric heating systems, in their leather shoes made in 3rd world countries)

We should kick off the war ASAP and crush the opposition.
The clash of civilisations is here, the barbarians are at our gates, and if we show any weakness we'll be very sorry in the long run. The other side simply don't think like we do and only understand power or servility. They cannot be reasoned with and we as "infidels" are deserving of death as if we aren't even human: the cultural aspects of this are utterly irreconcileable.
This will be WW3 no doubt.

I think its time to let all the tree huggers have their own commune. Anyone of the following will do and see how they like their new society:
Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, North Korea, Sierra Leone...
I'm sure they wont want to come home once they've settled in

IMO it's *bound* to get hijacked by the "I don't work, pay taxes and I'm anti-everything" brigade who will use it a an excuse to smash things up, throw bottles at the police etc.
As if there aren't enough problems in and around London right now, we have to put up with these clowns exercising their 'right to freedom speech' and abusing the State that supports them.
