Over the last few days my dad and I have been looking at a few digital camcorders.

What about the Sony PC110E - fantastic picture quality and can take stills at 1.1 megapixel resolution........Also has DV in and out for editing.
Depends on your budget - how much do you want to spend ???

just bought (Friday) a canon MV3imc to go on holiday with on Sunday. List price is around £1,400 but we got ours for £999. This thing does everything except get the drinks in!! We got ours at that price from Jessops in Milton Keynes as, apparrently, John Lewis are offering the same deal.It does photos as well!!

I think we're looking to spend anything in-between £400-£800.
I'm a bit of a gadget person so it'll probably be one of the more expenive ones we go for in the end [
