Question

Hi folks,
Can anyone recommend a good mini dv camcorder.
Can't decide between Panasonic nvds110 or Sony pc110.
Has anyone got either of these or could recommend any other makes/models they might have.
Preferably with dv in as well as out.
Thanks.

Mavrick I ended up getting the Panasonic NV-15DSB, It came with the DV Studio2 included.

It is my first Camcorder so I have no benchmark to judge it against I'm afraid, but saying that I am impressed with it.

I have found that the Battery that the Digi-cam is supplied with only last's for about half an hour, but it only takes an hour to recharge and you can use the digi-cam with the mains adapter.
It doesn't come supplied with any tapes or a case so that is an additional expense, but as the Studio2 software was included I can't grumble too much.

The operation is very easy even for a ham-fisted guy like me.
I have still to try all the features, which reminds me that I should have another play with it as soon as I am fini....

Have a look at these test shots of one of my son's toy's which is quite small.
Maybe it was not the best subject to get an idea of what the camcorder is like.

I will have to try some other subjects to see if I can get a better image.

I bought a Panasonic last year, think it was the NVEX something or other - it was thrashing the Sony in the reviews at the time. Very pleased with it!
