Mortgage providers - Rate Drop

What you've got to remember is that for every borrower there are around 8 investors, so they can't drop rates too far or they will lose their investors.
Put the rates up, I say!!

Halifax are dropping by 0.1%.

This must cost more in postage notifying borrowers than they will save in their repayments

Will it affect the Housing Market do you think?
I can see the most expensive houses dropping in price now, its bound to have a knock-on affect?
If I was buying, and I might when prices drop, I would want a 10 year fix at - what? say 5%??

fast bloke,
Tie in with 1 part of my mortgage is up in march, so I'm looking to bring both halves together and fix it for a while.
You want to drop me a line, and we can talk numbers ....
Cheers
