Can't remember the name but there was deffo one london based company mentioned on here during last summer that would rent you almost anything photgraphic on a daily basis.

Do a search on Google for Photo equipment rental. I remember seeing a few shops which would do rental in London...at quite a hefty price I should add. Some wanted an "insurance deposit" which would be almost (if not the same) as the retail price of the lens. Suppose it works if you've got a credit card to give 'em...and return the lens when you're done

Its worth looking on Ebay to actually buy some nowadays.thanks to digitalness,you can get spanking 35mm gear for almost nowt.I use Olympus Om gear,and the prices on Ebay are unbelievable.
