Can anyone qualified help?

Just say for example you had heard that your credit card details had been displayed by a secure site to all and sundry who had visited this internet site, what can you do about it? Who should the complaint be directed at? Which body would step in to sort everything out?

I remember a while back, a couple of people had their card details displayed by Woolies on their web site and these people received compensation. Any idea on the level of compensation that would be given for such a breach of security?

Any advice, help would be greatly received...

Thanks.

...about 20 quid was the compensation for the "hassle" of telling your card company to issue you a new card.

You'd need to complain to the Data Protection Commissioner
