Heater problem on the other halfs car
#1
My other half drives a 98 1.3 Ford Fiesta Encore (I know I Know)
The heater has stopped working.
The fan works and the engine does not overheat.
What should I check?
Any obvious causes?

Try removing the two pipes that go through the bulk head and put a hose pipe on each (one at a time though ) and flush out the heater matrix , they often get full up with a brown sh1te type stuff and stop the water flow .

Cheers Big Bear.
Found the problem today. Matrix is clear but the problem is with the solenoid controlled valve on the bulkhead which controls the flow of hot water to the matrix. The solenoid works but the diaphragm of the valve is rogered so its off to the Ford dealer tomorrow for a new valve. Or should we just trade it in
