Very thirsty!!!

Go for a Type R, more power, better suspension etc. The dogs.

How much is he looking to spend?

RX7 is a fabulous, fabulous car. I drove one a few years ago - not sure which model but I think the one before the latest. It looked a bit like a 911, but with the engine in the proper place.

It went like **** out of a goose. Power everywhere, handled sweet. Thank God for the rev limiter as it was sooo smooth.

It's a classic in every sense. Alli panels? I think so. I would guess at spares/servicing being a bit of problem, but that's only a guess. Unfortunately, fuel consumption is not a guess - I got 12mpg. Yes, I was driving fast but I bet nobody could get it above the teens.

RX7 or 911? Go for the Mazda. RX7 vs NSX? Not an easy choice.

Richard.
