Facts on Mazda RX7 series II ?

I'm interested in a Mazda RX7 series II that has had a Rover V8 lump swapped in.
I can't remember much about the car. Can someone remind me of the suspension setup, etc?
IRS of what type? Double-wishbone? LSD? etc.
Disc-brakes all round? Upgradable to latest model RX7 or better, etc?
Any info greatly appreciated,
