Blimey what was that all about?

The Internet was an absolute pig and most of the servers I use were empty, or populated by folk practicing their aiming etc.

I'd had a couple of pints earlier and that didn't help my aim!!

I wonder why the WWW was hit so badly on the evry night we choose to play? JohnnyboyP (aka Leon) was getting PING between 200 and 3,500, so it was unplayable for him. Phil couldn't connect at all through his BT ISP. Where do we go for a refund?

Good to see Dr Hu, comical when we both mistook each other for the bad guys, d'oh!! Well I did anyway.

Anyhew, I will make a point of practicing and at least on Rotterdam this time I knew you were up there, even if I couldn't hit you!!

Can't go on tonight as I'm out, but anyone fancy another "do" later in the week?

yeah was bad last nite. i used my other isp for most of the nite. went back to bt and it was even worse !

I connected thru Virgin Net and it was actually the best I've known it!! Maybe Virgin have bought all the bandwidth!

Sorry BarryK about shooting you! (Several Times!) I would have apologised but I could'nt remember how to use the talk - I was pressing T for TALK and S for SAY as in UR but no go - Did'nt have time to read the instructions!!

My weapon of choice is now the Magnum sniper rifle - Is there nothing that baby won't blow away (if you hit it of course!)

I got a blinding snipe shot and killed **** I suck (who ever he is!)

He even congratulated me next game - due to my lack of speech I could'nt blush with pride!

I was glad to see we lost every game BarryK - at least we were consistent!!

It was me that was playing under the name of Why the **** i suck.......used that name last time i played and forgot to change it.

I had no trouble with BT last night, well nothing more than usual. Do you guys use surftime?? If so that may be the reason, im on internet anytime and i normally dont have trouble connecting.

Dr Hu.....that was a good shot i see you prefer the awp or the minigun....i had some fun with that minigun

My aim is still pretty bad, but I'm getting to know maps better and am actually getting the odd frag now and again.

CU over the holiday weekend on Barrysworld or MoA Punkbuster most likely.

CS Tastic is a shame to waste, are u charged per minute of use, or what? Do you want a sub from us to help pay for it, and then we'll use it more? There are college servers in the states which seem to operate on a similar basis to CS Tastic, being empty at times, but filling later on. Obviously, we would keep CS Tastic p/w protected.

ffs another evening of wasted time buggering around with my PC. I added some memory and craptastic mayhem followed.

However it is now working, although my 128k connections seem to be taking ages (if at all) to connect. Has UK bandwidth been throttled back ready for the bank holiday freetime onslaught?

ICQ insatllation failed because a dll was missing. I'll download again and give it another go.

Sorry I was not around as promised. This is getting my goat. I'm making no more changes!!!!
