Okay, I need to know how to fix this or much much it's going to cost me!!!
Fault 1 - I have a 32" digital Wega and after it's been on for a while the sound controls stop working (so you can't adjust/mute the volume).
Fault 2 - The incoming signal disappears for approx 5 seconds (screen goes black) around every 20 minutes and then comes back on again. (Doesn't make any difference whether connected to Sky, video or DVD inputs).
Switching it off, leaving for a few seconds and switching back on again cures the problem.......for a while at least.
Anyone got any ideas what the cause might be?

Unsure about fault 1 but had a very similar problem with my old 28" Sony (non Wega). Picture would go off every now and then for a couple of seconds. This was a common problem with my model and was rectified by changing the A board. The problem has something to do with a signal the broadcastors emit prior to adverts. As a matter of interest see if your problem goes away when watching BBC1/2.
