Dave,

are you just clicking on the "print" button?

Try using the File/Print... menu option, and play with a few settings there and see what happens!

I had exactly the same problem using the new IE5.5 - I gave up in the end and using the add/remove prgrams in Control panel I went back to IE4 - stange, as I had IE5 on prevoiusly!!

But at least it worked - i just re-installed IE5.01 again.

IE5.5 was seriously annoying me anyway, especially on this BBS, the way it built the page was frustrating, as the topics, text and buttons jumped all around the page whilst it was loading all the pictures, banners and icons, so you went to click a button and a split second later the button had jumped 2 inches lower down, so you curse go to click on it again ,and it jumps another inch goddamn!! - the printing problem - only headers and footers - was the LAST STRAW - it a fit of pique I uninstalled the barsteward and started again - IE5.5 the way forward NOT!!

So don't know how to help, only suggest if you can you roll back to a previous install and try again.

If two of us has had the same problem it might be worth looking in the Knowledge Base, where there's two there's ten thousand!!

Depends on what you are printing.

If IE5 opens another programme the print button probably will not work.

Try right clicking on the item to be printed and then select print option.
