I need some help [please] from the puter gurus amngst you !
Whenever I open a link in a new window, it always opens it minimised and with progressive openeing, the minimised title bar moves diagonally downwards to the right.
Once it reaches the bottom of the screen it flips back up to top left and starts all over again
Its driving me spare!
I cant find any option to control or alter this, and feel the only answer is to attack the registry.
Id appreciate any help. £200 petrol voucher to the winner
Thanks
Sul

Fastbloke,
Thanks also for your reply...
OS=w98 rev2
Internet Explorer v5
When I right click on a url shortcut and select "Open In New Window" I get a title bar about 2.5 inches wide on my 1027x768 screen. For instance when I do it over the "Smilies Legend" shortcut i get a title bar only which says "Ultimate Bu...." and the window controls.
When I click the maximise button, the window will open as normal.
Its just a right PITA
Hope this helps you all help me ...
Thanks again

Sul,
instead of maximising the window, resize it using the corner drag handles. (Move the mouse over the corner and you will get an arrow. Click and then move the mouse to the size of window you want.) All future windows should open this size. If you maximise using the button in the top corner it won't effect the default new window settings.
You can't change the moving down and right thing, but if you get a big window it won't be such a pain it the ****.
Where can I get my voucher?

Fastbloke!
I could have witnessed the most miraculous and once in a lifetime sort of event. The amazement and excitement of watching it, would be nothing to that experienced in applying your fix.
Thats the best thing to happen to me in the last six and a half months.
I owe you!
Oh yeah....the petrol voucher....It'll be waiting at Tescos Filling Station @ Supermac!
Oh I forgot to mention, the £200 has to be used in one continuous squeeze of the trigger !
Seriously, I owe you. Maybe we'll bump into one another at the next trackday!
Cheers
