Mansell to return to F1??
#1
Thinking back to his last efforts, will anyone else be able to get in the car with him, or is this a single seater in this case?
Read the Evo article about your Evo last night... nice!

Thanks Si
RE: Mansell, I for one would love to see him back. As long as he doesn't throw his toys out of his pram and the Minardi car is reliable enough (doubtful ) then we should have a contender on our hands.
I also hope he doesn't do a repeat of his TOCA performance and think his Mondeo is a F1 car by seeing how it feels to hit a wall at 100MPH

I am the same age as Mansell. I even have a progamme from a race meeting where he featured in one of his first FF races, Jonathan Palmer was racing his Marcos in Modsports - and I was in my Spridget (one of VERY few races for me).
My reactions have slowed in the intervening years, I suspect his will have as well. I acknowledge that his started off on a different planet to mine, but think about it....we're both middle aged men nowadays. I thoroughly enjoyed his exploits in F1, but:
Stick to the golf Nigel!!

I used to love watching Mansell or Senna on a charge.
But fitness is part of the game, and IIRC our Nigel had to be helped out his Williams on a few occasions, God knows what he'd be like now..
