It all started when I decided to move my car off the street to the safety of the back of the house for the night. This developed into a check to see if anywhere has flooded yet. Having failed to find any flood it turned into a thrash! This was fine untill I went over the top of a humped back bridge doing around fifty only to be greated by... a flood!! Images of bent valves crossed my mind as water covered my screen but luckily I emerged unscathed from the other side.
I think I'll stick to watching floods on the news from now on, Bob

I'm not sure how deep the water was really, I'd guess about six inches or so. On closer inspection in daylight today it has pulled the wheel arch liner away which in turn nudged the arch spat which then cracked the lacquer on the wing, bugger!
Oh well, lesson learnt, Bob

I do think I was lucky and won't be trying it again (hopefully), You can actually see oncoming cars so that's not too much of a problem, you just can't see low enough to spot the water!
It was at the bottom of the hill by Snaygill boats on the road to Bradley, where I live.
