Anybody had problems with it? I upgraded today and it refused to show anything other than AOL content. I used their helpline and was e-mailed a 2 page list of things to alter. Still no use. I've spent half a day messing around with it and in order to get back on line uninstalled it to return to AOL5, I'll try their helpline again but should it be this difficult?

I upgraded a couple of weeks ago - no problems apart from the occasional diconnection. I'd only used AOL 5.0 for about a week (no, I don't know why they were still sending out 5.0 well after 6.0 had been issued either). Plenty of hassle with 5.0 - until I eventually worked out that it didn't like Zone Alarm.

CLS,

I installed this bag of ****e on Wednesday and it has caused me nothing but grief. I have a phat processor in my pc and it slows it down to crashing, the software is pants, reminds me of playskool!

I phoned their helpline and I seemed to know more than the woman at the other end of the line!

I recommend you bin it and try something else like freeserve anytime, I'm using this now (thanks ChrisB) for £12.99 and it is superb! Or bt have some offers and there are loads of others...

Mine disconnects sometimes but other than that no problems.

Netscape 6 is worse, far slower than version 4.7. Don't bother getting that one!
