I've just died and gone to GT3 Heaven

NEVER, EVER IN MY LIFE have I ever seen anything like GT3!
Yeh - you're probably thinking what an ace piece of PR but never in 5 years on all platforms, nothing has something moved me this much!
You'll know what I mean when you see it.
(Played the new Sti and Impreza WRC 2000 cars)- a teccie guy compared it to a 800mhz PC with Voodoo 3 (but PS2 was smoother)
Prepare to be bowled over.
Anyway back to work and have to give the disc back - damm

Yeah, I've seen it running too and it is really, really SMOOTH.
60 Frames Per Sec is lovely to see, and makes the handling a little more accurate too!
Not sure about the throttle idea though - the harder you press the button, the more throttle is applied, etc... (PSX2 buttons are pressure sensitive, which can be used in games)
I don't think its going to be the mammoth step-up people are expecting - more like Gran Turismo 2 on steroids.
They should have called it GT2 A-Spec, as its basically GT2 with a couple of extra tracks and some nicer graphics.
I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed when I saw it, admittedly not the latest build.
Metal Gear Solid 2 - now you're talking. I've seen that moving too and the atmospheric effects are mind-blowing! That really looks like a 'next-gen' title.
