I've been picking up a few bargain DVD's from Play.com/CD-Wow and Choices Direct. So far I have got Heat, Reservoir Dogs and Rambo all at £5.99 inc. delivery.
Any other good sales on anywhere??
Got a new machine at christmas and I'm trying to build a bit of a collection up. Also stumped up an extra £50 for multiregion but it seems like a waste of time - the Region 2 discs always seem cheaper.

I've never found anywhere cheaper than Play or Amazon.Even Ebay is more expensive due to bid desease. All 3 Derek and Clive are available in the Amazon sale for £6.99 each, yet in Ebay the bids are already at £9 each.Bizarre why people don't use a search engine first.

Buyer beware!
Region 2 might be cheaper, but there are variations between regions on what you get, i.e DTS, special features etc. so cheaper isnt always better, theres a reason for most things

The best thing about DVD's are that they make VHS so cheap.
IMO Only worth having if the film is relatively new and makes use of the extra sound/visuals and if you have a decent TV to enjoy it on.

Blockbuster have a half price sale on.
I picked up 6 new ones at £8.98 each.
Also got a 3 for 2 offer on all their ex-rentals...usually works out about £8 a film
