Can you update your road tax if you have lost the form they send through?? If not then bugger!!!!!

Yes, pretty sure you can. You can use a form in the Post Office, but you still need the same docs with you (Insurance, MOT & V5).

Did a year's tax for the missus's new imported Pug 206CC three weeks ago. £155 -- it's in the top emission bracket.

My renewal came through for 1 Jan. £160 [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Carl - If your car is over two years old you will be paying the flat charge (i.e. not emissions related) This is still £160 I believe.

Road Tax was held at the same rate at the last budget.

listening to the radio today you can only re-tax your car if you have the renewal notice or the origional registration document (V55) you cannot use the old V62 to apply for a new logbook at the same time as you could before.

my neighbour had his removed whilst the car was on the drive. He had to pay £50 for a replacement
