Just got back from my local Asda, where I usually shop at strange hours of the day, I only popped in for a few Italian bits for Boxing Day.
It's MAD out there! Cars parked all over the place on all the side roads & all around the back way in Sneaky me gets a parking spot just round the corner from the main entrance, Result!
Get inside with my mini trolley to find it absolutely packed full (at 8:30pm when it's usually nice & quiet)
Who knows how many peoples ankles I rammed or wayward trolleys I barged out of the way on my whistle stop 'I know what I want & where it is dash'
Frustration rose to fever pitch with the total DORKS who leave their trolleys at 90 degrees to the aisle whilst they ponder which brand of beans is cheapest' 'Oi luv I thenk thase ar'on offer?'
So what I now want is an STi shopping trolley with 6 pot AP brakes (for those emergency stops) Toyo tyres (for better cornering) 4 wheel steering with added 'reversing flick' and a HUGE set of Bull Bars for the front to collect wayward sprogs etc.
Better still, dont go shopping tonight!

All done. For a 'getting few bits' a basket is a much better option. You can dodge around between the trolly driving plebs AND use it as a hammer-like object once it contains a few bottles of sauvignon Handy

Trolley rage is getting to epidemic proportions. When will the police trolley's step in and sort them out. I see them sitting at the cake counter all the time.
How like real life?

As ever, my 'special route' avoids such hazards as the 'cake counter'
