Workmate died on Thursday last week of cancer aged just 39.he had 3 young boys as well. Gutted. Why does it always happen to the good guys. He never had a bad word about anyone and was one of the most geniunely helpful, nice people you could meet. Had never touched a ciggy either. Life just isnt fair.

Had kept meaning to see Strummer in his current band.
Saw him when a teenager and the whole punk thing was such an influence for me, guess it shaped me to a big extent. There was such a load of stale crap going on before. Sadly missed

Quite worrying as my mate just told me that he also has a malignant brain tumour, and he is in his early 30's :-(

Deeply saddened by Will Hoy's passing. Although I only met him on a few occasions, he always came across as a decent guy, with a good sense of humour, and an obvious passion for the sport.
He will be sorely missed.
