One interesting the thing about the guy (I am sure their are more) is he only took up racing at the age of 30, and 10 years later one the BTCC.

Will Hoy was an excellent driver.
I have a poster of the Laguna going up and over a fence. Its one of my favourite 'thank god I wasnt spectating at that bit of the track' moments
Always had a good comment the events. He'll be missed.

A very sad loss, really nice guy Paul I too remember the T-Bone incident, it was Julian Bailey, but I thought it was the Brands GP circuit.

It was in the complex at Silverstone and yes they were in the omega colours. Hoy came under the bridge at silverstone turned into bridge with Julian Bailey behind him then turned into Priory and Julian tried to go down the inside but there wasn't room, he hit Will and flipped him over onto his roof Julian Bailey went through but later retired. They met in the pits and looked cool with each other

I remember seeing him put on his roof at Brands Hatch many years ago. I was a photographer mate of mines "assistant". We had press passes and where allowed almost anywhere around the track. We where pretty close to the incident when it happened.
A sad loss.

Deeply saddened by Will Hoy's passing. Although I only met him on a few occasions, he always came across as a decent guy, with a good sense of humour, and an obvious passion for the sport.
He will be sorely missed.
Josh
PS PaulP, I will always remember that incident, as I was on the outside of Priory at the time, and was changing films
